    Tasted by rogerr. Drinking well with virtually no aspects of age. Bright, crisp, with a touch of richness. Nice finish. Probably will improve with age. (91 pts.) – Tasted 11/28/2025.
  • 2009 Saxum Bone Rock James Berry Vineyard
    Tasted by rogerr. From magnum. Drinking well and showing some nice aspects of aging. Tannins still prominent but a bit softened with the years. Developing well. Drink or hold. (93 pts.) – Tasted 11/27/2025.
  • 2008 La Spinetta (Rivetti) Barbaresco Vürsù Vigneto Valeirano
    Tasted by rogerr. Intense aromas of red fruit/strawberry in a custard. Full bodied for a Nebbiolo with forward tannins and good acid balance. Intense on the palate with a long, pleasant, finish.   • 2019 Chiesa Carlo Nebbiolo d'Alba Roero Superiore
    Tasted by rogerr. Enjoyed over three days. This is tightly wound currently. Tannins are very forward on the palate. Enjoyable but I think it will improve greatly with a few more years. (90 pts.) – Tasted 11/16/2025.
  • 2018 Nervi-Conterno Gattinara Vigna Molsino
    Tasted by rogerr. Agree with the recent note by glou.sf. This wine is delightful and drinking beautifully. A standout expression of Nebbiolo. (95 pts.) – Tasted 11/2/2025.

  • 2022 AR.PE.PE. Rosso di Valtellina
    Tasted by rogerr. My first Ar.Pe.Pe experiance. Pine and unripe strawberry aromas. Ruby red. Light to medium body. Cranberry on the palate with pretty good balance of high acid and med + tannins. Probably too young to fully appreciate but still enjoyable and best with food to complement the acid. (90 pts.) – Tasted 10/21/2025.
  • 2019 Arnot-Roberts Trousseau
    Tasted by rogerr. light bodied and colored, unripe strawberry and rhubarb notes. this is a nuanced wine that intrigues but falls short of deep engagement for me. drank over 2 evenings it held up well after 24 hours in refrigerated bottle. (91 pts.) – Tasted 9/30/2025.
